FAN

The Financial Access Network® (FAN®) is an integral part of DST’s Internet initiative. FAN is the industry’s most sophisticated and powerful electronic gateway to link people with information. Containing the highest level of security for conducting business over the Internet, FAN provides DST clients a connection to send information and enable transactions.

FAN interacts with a variety of access vehicles, including consumer software packages such as Intuit’s Quicken. It is also the platform for DST’s FAN Web®, which provides a secured link from fund company Web sites to FAN.

FAN eliminates the need for fund companies to build a separate interface for every financial software package, online service provider, and any other electronic medium to reach investors. Because DST has built the gateway, fund companies can choose how to achieve the level of control they desire.
