AWD/Scan® provides high-volume scan, capture and archival functions for an advanced imaging and workflow environment. Integrated with Automated Work Distributor™ (AWD®) workflow technology and cutting-edge scanning hardware, AWD/Scan can significantly increase back-office productivity.

AWD/Scan communicates with the scanner to process images at maximum speed, reducing the number of associates and hardware needed in the scanning environment. Also, its dynamic indexing capability allows the simultaneous batch processing of documents and automatically indexes them.

Quality control is easy and convenient with AWD/Scan. All scanned images are temporarily stored on the local AWD/Scan station until archiving is finished. So indexing information can be changed or sources deleted before committing them to their destination within the workflow.
