Bringing Global Best Practice Processes to Transfer Agencies

Fundamental to the success of any transfer agency or unit registry is the ability to efficiently and reliably manage an accurate record of investors, transactions and account balances. This is a transfer agency’s bread and butter, its raison d'etre.

While much of the process that governs how this works is highly regulated, how each transfer agency manages these processes can and does vary. We know from experience. For many years, DST has provided transfer agency services on behalf of a number of large, well-known global companies as part of our administration services businesses in the US, UK, and elsewhere. We’ve learned what works, what doesn’t, and what makes for a truly best practice operation.

Now, we’ve taken the sum total of what we’ve learned and made it available to transfer agencies in Australia through our new Transfer Agency Smart Process Application.

Essentially, we’ve created a version of our business process and case management platform AWD® that comes pre-configured with global best practice transfer agency processes. You can take them as they are, or adjust to suit your business requirements.

We’re delighted that FundBPO will be the first Australian transfer agency to take up this new DST offering.

To quantify this, the 9,000+ faxes, letters, and emails we receive from investors each month will be integrated and indexed in AWD, improving turnaround times, and increasing transparency and process controls for our clients.”
