DST Systems Announces Officer PromotionsFebruary, 2003 KANSAS CITY, MO. (February, 2003) -- DST Systems, Inc., the leading provider of computer software and servicing solutions to the mutual fund, financial services, and cable and satellite television industries, recently announced the following officer promotions. Fred Quatrocky was promoted to vice president. In his 18 years at DST, Quatrocky has directed the efforts to convert and build relationships with 11 new customers of TA2000â, DST’s mutual fund shareholder recordkeeping software. Over the next two years, Quatrocky will expand his responsibility to include 17 customer relationships and the associates servicing those customers. Tom Schmidt was promoted to vice president. Schmidt joined DST in 1986 as a unit manager. Most recently, Schmidt served as operations officer for DST’s Full Service division. In his new role as vice president of Mutual Fund Operations, Schmidt will oversee all Full Service Mutual Fund clients. Janet Brown was promoted to client services officer. Brown joined DST in 1985 as a systems support representative, and has held 12 different positions during her tenure. As a client services officer, Brown will continue to manage the seamless service to DST’s largest mutual fund client, including leading a team of associates dedicated to servicing the client. Mike Buonantony was promoted to systems officer. Buonantony joins DST Systems after 32 years with EquiServe, a DST subsidiary. As a systems officer in DST’s LAN, Internet, and Voice Services division, Buonantony is responsible for overseeing the DST enterprise telecom environment, and for managing PBXs and desktop telephony for all DST associates. Bill Chisolm was promoted to systems officer. Chisolm joined DST in 1994 as a senior systems programmer. Chisolm is responsible for the project management team, as well as the hardware, daily maintenance, customer support, and problem management/change control for all the servers used throughout DST Systems, as well as subsidiaries DST Output, DST Innovis, and EquiServe. This position also oversees the project management group for the LAN, Internet, and Voice Services division. Terry Gill was promoted to systems officer. Gill will provide leadership for three disciplines (desktop, helpdesk, asset management) across DST Systems, as well as across subsidiaries DST Output, DST Innovis, and EquiServe. Joe Greenhaw was promoted to systems officer. Greenhaw joined DST in 1998 as a staff consultant; most recently, he served as the systems support director responsible for DST’s Network Services division. This systems officer position was created to oversee the consolidated Network Services team, which will serve all of DST Systems, as well as subsidiaries DST Output, DST Innovis, and EquiServe. Rick Maner was promoted to internal audit officer. Maner will oversee the enterprise internal audit function, which includes reviewing all operating and financial areas within DST, its subsidiaries, and its joint ventures, and to manage the expectations of regulatory agencies.
