DST's Vision® Is Enhanced For Servicing 529s

(March 26, 2002)- Vision®, the financial advisor portal offering access to more than 260 fund companies such as Alliance Capital, American Funds, AIM, and MFS Investment Management, offers consolidated access to 529 plan customer accounts. As 529 plans continue to grow in popularity, Vision (www.dstvision.com) will be an increasingly important tool for financial advisors.
Vision provides financial advisors with an online location to easily retrieve their 529 accounts in real time. Financial advisors can enjoy the convenience of accessing their 529 accounts that are managed by participating Vision fund companies along with their client's other investment accounts. Currently, more than half of the country's 529 plans are accessible through Vision.
AnnuityNet's online technology, which will be available through Vision, supports the sale and service of annuity products from multiple insurance carriers. A signature capability of the AnnuityNet system is efficient end-to-end processing that speeds the sales cycle by incorporating automated wizards that streamline the application process and eliminate common errors. Other key benefits of the platform are built-in suitability and compliance checks, and straight-through paperless processing that electronically delivers the application to the carrier back office systems, often via the NSCC's IPS service.
