DST’s downtown campus is centered in an historic area of Kansas City, which was once the garment district. Some of the city’s historic theatres are within walking distance of many of DST’s buildings. The city’s premier convention center is located nearby, and one of the nation’s only Jazz museums and districts is only a short cab ride away.

Downtown is centrally located and easily accessible from all areas of metropolitan Kansas City. DST currently occupies 10 buildings in downtown’s West Side, and has heavy involvement in the renovation and rebuilding of this area. During the past decade, DST has been committed to transforming a once-dormant area of Kansas City into a thriving business, residential, and entertainment area.
