Training

Since our start-up, we have offered tuition reimbursement to associates who meet certain requirements. In 2002 alone, DST paid out over $1,200,000 in tuition reimbursement and associated expenses for advanced education.Additionally, our Center for Education and Development (CED) offers numerous training workshops and computer-based training programs. Our customer service associates, for example, typically train for two to four weeks upon entering the company, then undergo further, fund-specific training. Many of the courses offered through CED are aimed at identifying and developing managerial skills.

DST has developed training opportunities in the technology side of our business. All of these are for associates or external candidates who want to become either COBOL or Java programmers. These training programs are offered on a rotating basis depending on corporate business needs.
