AWD/Scan® provides high volume scan, capture, and archival functions in today’s advanced imaging and workflow world.

Together with the Automated Work Distributor™ (AWD®) workflow technology and leading-edge scanning hardware, AWD/Scan can significantly increase productivity. Using AWD/Scan to communicate with the scanner means it’s possible to process images at the scanner’s maximum speed, which reduces the number of employees and hardware needed in the scanning environment.

In addition AWD/Scan’s archive application operates during the imaging function. This simultaneous operation, combined with the fact that AWD/Scan runs in the background and requires minimal user intervention, significantly reduces processing time.

AWD/Scan allows companies to choose the method that best fits the scanning requirements. Its dynamic indexing capabilities allow the simultaneous batch processing of documents and automatically indexes them.

Quality control is easy and convenient with AWD/Scan. All scanned images are temporarily stored on the local AWD/Scan station until archiving is finished. This means that indexing information can be changed or sources deleted before committing them to their destination within the workflow.
