AWD/ICR® optimizes the speed and accuracy of paper processing by capturing machine- and hand-printed characters from scanned images of forms.

Integrated with a third-party form processing software, AWD/ICR improves processing quality, increases productivity, decreases processor training time, simplifies task automation, and recognizes handprint, machine print, marks, and barcodes.

AWD/ICR electronically reads predetermined source fields and transfers that data with little or no user intervention. Each field can be sent through a rules-based validation system, and AWD/ICR includes online, graphical windows-based user software for processing corrections, validations, and high-speed data keying.

Many types of forms can be sent through AWD/ICR, including New Account Applications, Address Changes, IRA Distribution Forms, Tender Forms, and Proxy Changes of Addresses.
