Supported Products
OpenPFA provides complete management and decision support that comprise today’s sophisticated unified managed accounts, including:

  • Mutual Fund Wraps – Selected mutual fund combinations predefined by percentage allocations with performance measurement and rebalance and reallocation according to specifications.
  • No Transaction Fee Mutual Funds – Known as no-load mutual funds.
  • Core Money Market Fund – A money market fund to facilitate investment flow of funds and fee collection for the advisor and manager.

Seamless Integration
OpenPFA functions as the “books and records” of a comprehensive investment management program, capturing all of the information that the advisor needs to make timely decisions. OpenPFA incorporates a suite of applications that can handle every investment portfolio’s needs:

  • Managed Asset Platform (MAP) – Provides portfolio management, user-defined workflow, and a common trading protocol for managed accounts of individual securities.
  • TA2000 – Provides detailed Subaccounting for all mutual funds, including posting transactions, position keeping, processing mutual fund corporate actions, and tax lot and tax reporting functionality.
  • Automated Work Distributor (AWD) – Manages real-time communication of work between OpenPFA participants, including workflow management, straight-through processing of events, and document archiving.

Comprehensive Services
The OpenPFA Client Service Team supports all OpenPFA activities, including, account set-up, management of transaction activity, reconciliation services, and statement initiation. This team also provides support with product training, coordination of initial set-up, and introduction to operational service representatives.

Other OpenPFA services include:

  • Web-enablement through an Internet-user interface
  • Householding for statements, viewing, and fee processing
  • Investment allocations across products, product styles, and holdings within a product style
